Of course, I would not forget blogging about our annual BARCKK sleepover, which happens twice every year *big smiles* It was supposed to be on May 29 but I had to ask Aix to make a last-minute rescheduling. And after confirmations, it was moved earlier. So…
We agreed to meet at around 6 pm. Cha showed up earlier than that and texted me to meet her at the San Fernando terminal. Korin also texted me, saying we could go first and she’ll just rush straight to Aix’s. So that leaves me and Betch. (Karen can’t make it due to some reasons. Too bad we aren’t complete.)
I arrived earlier and waited for Betch. She was kinda late, but that was forgiven. Being an avid PBB Teens viewer, I immediately told her, “Ano ba yan Joj! Anong oras na?! Ay hindi. Ikaw pala si Jai. Nasa right yung bangs mo eh.” Hahaha. Betch kept denying that she doesn’t look like the twins but I kept on teasing her about it.
We met Cha at the terminal, where I shared my laughter about Betch’s look-a-like. We shared stories and got into St. Kolbe’s, and planned on pranking Korin about the sleepover.
In front of the gate…
Me: Nagtext si Mits. Sabi niya sabihan daw natin siya pag malapit na tayo kina Aix. Eh andito na tayo!
Cha: Sabihin mo wala kami ni Betch.
Betch: Tapos sabihin mo kasama mo si Karen.
Me: (followed what they said) Text mo din si Mits! (to Cha)
Cha: Osige. (Came up with excuses)
Betch: Uy text mo si Karen. Baka itext siya bigla ni Mits.
Me: Ok eto. (texted Karen)
Betch: Dalian mo Bebs! (laughing)
And when we got in, Korin was already there. Ang dami naming tawa, wtf. Hahahahaha.
We waited for Aix while they were making fun of my reversible detachable collar. (The theme for that night was to be colorful. I did color blocking - my blue detachable collar, a blue-green loose cropped top, a pink and purple striped hoodie, faded denim shorts and yellow flats. Okay, I explained. Hahahaha.) After that, we went inside her room to get ready. I changed into another top since I was uncomfortable with what I was wearing, ‘coz it was already late at night and I was feeling conservative. Haha. Too bad I wasn’t able to sport my detachable collar that night. Lol. Kidding.
Anyway… we went to The Coffee Academy in Sindalan. We ordered appetizers, frappe and alcoholic beverages.

Mai Thai, Kamikazee and Zombie.

Nachos and fries. (We had another appetizer but I forgot what it was called.)

I had caramel frappe :”>

“Bebs, mag-Laureen Uy ka nga! Dali.”

FAIL. Hahahahaha.

I don’t know what happened with this shot. Hahaha.
So yeah, we also shared stories and most especially, laughs. We’ve talked about our high school teachers and classmates. We also talked about our personal lives, where I was asked first and I simply described it as boring. Nothing new, nothing exciting.

This is how it looks while we were on the verge of our kuwentuhans.
At around 11 pm, we decided to take our last group shot before we leave.

We went home after that, yet continued with all our stories. Aix and I prepared Vodka mixed with Margarita, along with gummy worms. (Don’t get me wrong. We only drink very, very, very seldom.) We also did some trash-talking and gossips. Lol. We also browsed the PBB Teen Housemates’ photos and made judgments. It was 2:30 in the morning when we finally got tired and fell asleep, although I was the last one to do so.
We woke up at around 6:30 in the morning. Aix had to leave early with Tita Daisy and Gab since the latter’s gonna have his operation. Meanwhile, the four of us had breakfast and got ready, shortly, after we woke up. We left at around 9:30 am. We all agreed that it was the quickest sleepover we’ve had, or maybe it was because this time, we had so many stories to tell and we didn’t notice how time flew so fast.
I really did enjoy it though. I could imagine our kids being bestfriends with one another. Because I know we’ll always and forever be the BARCKK-ada that we were back in high school. ♥
P.S. Will blog about my 4-day Mariveles experience soon.
Love,
R.
